Liquidation pallets are sold by manifest and condition, not by individual unit warranty. That means our returns policy is different from a regular retail return policy β and we want to be upfront about exactly what’s covered and what’s not before you order.
Our 14-Day Inspection Guarantee
From the moment your pallet is delivered, you have 14 calendar days to inspect contents and file a claim if something is genuinely wrong. The policy is designed to protect you against issues that aren’t visible at the curb on delivery day β hidden damage inside boxes, manifest accuracy problems, or pallets that arrive in a category materially different from what was listed.
What’s Returnable
- Pallets with significant hidden damage: if more than 25% of units arrive damaged due to freight handling, we’ll refund or replace.
- Manifest accuracy failures: below 70% unit accuracy on a “manifested” pallet, you’re eligible for a partial refund.
- Wrong category pallets: if a pallet sold as “electronics” arrives as 90% apparel, full refund including return freight.
- Pallets that never arrive: we’ll replace or refund once the carrier confirms loss.
What’s Not Returnable
Being honest about this protects you and us both. None of the following are eligible for return:
- “I couldn’t sell it” or “I didn’t make money”: liquidation buying is a business, not a guaranteed-return investment.
- Customer-returns condition working as described: a pallet sold as “customer returns” will contain a percentage of broken or missing-parts items. That’s the definition of the condition.
- Items missing from unmanifested pallets: if a pallet is sold without a manifest, there’s no contract about what should be inside.
- Damage caused after delivery: if you dropped the pallet unloading, that’s not a freight claim.
- Refused shipments: if you refuse a shipment at the curb, you forfeit the freight claim process.
- Claims filed after 14 days: the inspection window is firm.
How to File a Return or Claim
Email sales@palletkings.shop with your order number, photos of the pallet on arrival (including the BOL if visible damage), photos of the issue, and a brief description. We respond within 1 business day. Approved claims get an RMA number and next steps.
Restocking Fees
We don’t charge restocking fees on legitimate claims (damage, manifest issues, wrong category). On approved courtesy returns outside our standard policy, a 15% restocking fee plus return freight applies.
Refund Timing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 business days of pallet return. Credit card refunds typically post within 3β10 days. PayPal refunds usually show up within 24 hours.
Disputes
If you and our claims team can’t agree on a resolution, the dispute goes to a senior buyer protection specialist for review. We also welcome BBB and credit card chargeback processes β we honor every legitimate complaint.
